Gel Nail Extensions

This is an intensive course which lasts 1.5 days with additional online study.

It is advised that you hold a Manicure Certificate prior to enrolling in this course, however it is not essential.   

You will carry out the theory online then come into the school for a practical training session and assessment. The theory covers:

• Introduction, Reception, Consultation & Ventilation
• Anatomy & Physiology
• Contra-indications & Contra-actions
• Preparation
• Technique
• Treatment Adaptations
• Maintenance, Repair & Removal
• Aftercare

The Practical Module covers: 

• Application of gel overlays 
• Application and blending of nail tips
• Gel building and application over nail tips
• Sculpting extensions using the forms
• Ombre & French Gel applications 
• Maintenance, repair and removal of the nail treatments

No Model is needed for this course as training hands are used

There may be a student membership fee of £25 if you are not currently a member of the Beauty Guild.
